The National Trail Parks and Recreation District's Tennis Staff offers programs and leagues for all ages and skill levels.

OLD REID TENNIS CENTER COURT HOURS:

COURT FEES:

17 &  Under:                  $2 per person/day    
18 & Over:                    $5 per person/day                                                    
Adult Pass:                   $125 per person/unlimited play                    
Family Pass:                 $200 unlimited play (up to 4 people in household)                                              
Punch Card:                  $60 for 15 plays                    
               

Snyder Park Howard Z. Dredge Tennis Facility Information

The Snyder Park Howard Z. Dredge Tennis Facility offers six (6) hard surface tennis courts There are also two pickle ball courts available on the northern courts.

* NTPRD reserves the right to reserve the courts for groups and special events without notice.

Ages: 18 & Older

Session 1: June 13, 15, 20, & 22 - 8:30–10:00am

Session 2: July 11, 18, 25 & Aug. 1 - 6:00–7:30pm

Whether you have never held a racquet or have not played in years, this is the perfect tennis program for you. The Start/Restart Tennis program introduces new adult players and welcomes back past players at the beginner level. This program teaches technique and builds skill. ADULT LATE SUMMER SOFTBALL

Ages: 18 & Older

Lagonda Softball Fields

Registration Deadline: July 22

Registration Fee: $325 per team (Additional $30 USSSA sanction fee if needed)

 

A $230 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. Registration opens June 30. All spots are first come, first served and limited space is available.

Mondays/ Wednesdays: Men’s Open

Fridays: Coed Open

Saturday: Men’s Open

 

 

LOUIS HEIL SPRINGFIELD / CLARK COUNTY TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Ages: 19 & Older

August 6 -14

Old Reid Park Tennis Complex

Registration Deadline: July 22, 2016

Registration Fee: $20 per person/match (price includes court fees)

 

The Louis Heil is designed for the average to advanced tennis player with many different levels and age divisions for Men, Women and Doubles and Mixed Doubles. All matches are best of three sets. Play may be scheduled Saturday or Sunday beginning at 10am or weeknights starting at 6pm. Players must be available to play at these times throughout the entire tournament. Youth Tennis 

NATIONAL TRAIL MIDWEST JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS

Ages: 12-18(as of June 1)

Camp 1 - June 6-9 - 1-2:30pm

Camp 2 - Weds. - July 6-27 6-7:30pm

Wittenberg University Tennis Courts

Registration Deadline: Friday Before

Registration Fee: $30

This program is for middle and high school players looking to continue play in a team setting throughout the summer. Participants will be registered with USTA and will be placed on teams night of event. All participants will receive T-shirt. Click here to register. 

 

WITTENBERG TENNIS LESSONS

July 7-28

6-7 years - Beginner - Tues & Thurs - 8:00-9:00am - $75

8-10 years -  Beginner -  Tues & Thurs 9:00-10:00am -  $75

11-18 years - Beginner - Mon & Wed - 8:00-9:30am - $100

11-18 years - Intermediate/Advanced - Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs - 10:00-11:30am - $100*

Wittenberg University Tennis Courts

Registration Deadline: July 1

One month of organized lessons led by Wittenberg Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach, Nick Rohner. An athlete is considered Intermediate/Advanced if they can consistently rally 7+ balls from the baseline every point. *Int/Adv athletes who participate Mondays- Thursdays: $175 Click here to register.
