Crafty Cards is a fun filled night out with friends or if you just need some ‘me’ time. Supplies and instructions are provided for 4 –5 projects. Participants work at their own pace and skill level.

The Trail Walkers is a walking program conducted by National Trail Parks and Recreation District, which highlights the multi-purpose trail system while promoting fitness, fellowship and fun. These guided, self paced walks begin at 10:00 a m on Tuesdays. Health screenings are offered the first Tuesday of each month and are     provided by the Clark County Combined Health District.

Compost Workshop

Residents will learn the basic dos and donts of backyard composting in these informative one hour sessions, instructed by the Clark County Solid Waste District. Learn from seasoned composters what, where, and how to compost – nature’s way of recycling and turn yard waste and kitchen scraps into a valuable soil amendment while reducing your    garbage and carbon footprint. The first 20 registrants for each class will receive a coupon for $10 off a compost bin purchased from the Clark County Solid Waste District (normal bin price is $40), and one lucky attendee at each event will win a FREE compost bin. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

 

Wreath Making Class
