FITNESS BOOTCAMP

Ages: 18 & Older

Session 1: Saturdays, December 6 – 27

Session 2: Saturdays, January 10 – 31*

Registration Fee: $6 per class, or $20 per session

Join an Anytime Fitness instructor for a 30-minute Bootcamp workout! Bootcamp is a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core, and functional movement patterns. Participants keep moving and burning fat from the first minute to the very end! There will also be a free 30-minute health seminar immediately following class on the first Saturday of every month. Participants must register by the Friday before the class they wish to attend. No drop-in registrations will be accepted due to limited class space. Register for individual classes for $6 or a 4-class session for $20. *Class on January 24 will be held at Anytime Fitness.

 

PILATES FITNESS CLASS

Ages: 18 & Older

Wednesdays, January 14, 21 & 28

Pilates is stretching and strengthening. It tones muscle, improves posture, provides flexibility and balance. Attend a free class on Wednesday, January 14, 21 and 28 from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm. Space is limited. Bring mat and water bottle.

ZUMBA GOLD FITNESS CLASS

Ages: 18 & Older

Registration Fee: $6 per class

Zumba Gold is a drop-in dance fitness class that feels friendly and most of all fun. It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves for a lower impact workout that is appropriate for any age as well as beginners. Space in class is limited.
 

TRAIL WALKERS

Ages: 18 & Older

Tuesdays

10:00 am - 11:00 am

The Trail Walkers is a walking program which highlights the multi-purpose trail system while promoting fitness, fellowship and fun. These guided, self-paced walks begin at 10:00 a m on Tuesdays. Health screenings are offered the first Tuesday each month and are provided by the
Clark County Combined Health District. Trail Walker is sponsored by Richards, Raff and Dunbar Memorial Home and Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.

Join us for a walk along one of the many hiking trails. The first and third Wednesdays of each month hikes will take place at the Rebert Pike Nature Park and the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month will take place at New Reid Park. These guided, self paced hikes will allow you to explore and enjoy our local natural environment. These trails are all natural so be sure to wear your hiking boots. Please note a guided hike will not take place on December 24, 31 or February 4.
