Connector from the Simon Kenton Trail to the Splash Zone Water Park
Construction
Construction of a connector spur of the Simon Kenton Trail to the Splash Zone Water Park will begin on September 4 and proceed through November 4. This will allow for safe bicycle transportation to the
water park from the National Trail Parks and Recreation District Trail System. The main body of the Simon Kenton Trail will remain open and any interruption of service should be minimal. The Springfield City Engineer will manage this project.
