Teams
will be organized geographically, when possible.
There are two
divisions in this league.
3rd
& 4th
Grade Division
A co-ed league where teams will practice once Mon - Fri (coaches choice of slot) and games will be on Saturday.
The league is highly instructional with an emphasis on
skill development with games that are instructional in nature.
Practices and games will be held on Wednesdays and
Saturdays. The league is held at area gyms.
5th
and 6th Grade Division
This league is organized with separate divisions for boys and
girls. Games will be played on Saturdays beginning in
January, with games and practices held at various locations
throughout Springfield and Clark County, with an increased
emphasis on skill development through positive competition. |

Biography:
Wayne
Embry is a native of Clark County Ohio who is enshrined in the
Professional
Basketball Hall of Fame because of a successful career as a
player and executive. He is the first African American to serve as
General Manager of one of the Major League Sports.

This program is open to youngsters ages 5 and 6 whose parent or another adult is able to attend six, 50 minute sessions with them. It is an instructional program that prepares children for an enjoyable basketball experience. The program will be held on Sunday afternoons beginning January
8, 2012.

This is an in instructional basketball program for children in the 1st and 2nd Grade. This low key, non-competitive program will be
ran in a clinic format for six weeks on Sunday afternoons beginning January

Sports Champions
Basketball Camp Fee
$25 TBA For Youths ages
8 - 14 A two day camp
held at a local school, for young people ages 8 - 14 of all basketball skill
levels. The camp will provide comprehensive instruction into all phases of the game of basketball in a very fun format.
