TENNIS CAMPS      Registration Form

The Youth Tennis Instruction will be conducted in a new format in 2008. The program will be conducted in a one-week camp format at the Howard Z. Dredge Tennis Center in Springfield’s Snyder Park. Camps will be designed for two different youth age groups, Tots and Regular. The schedule is as follows:

Tot Tennis Camp              Registration Fee is $10    for ages 5 to 7
Success in any sport depends on enjoyment, fun and love of the game. This one week camp for young players, ages 5 - 7 will provide a basic introduction to the game of tennis with an emphasis on fun. Bring a tennis racket if you have one.

Session I June 2 - 5 (rain date June 6)  5:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Session II June 23 - 26 (rain date June 27) 8:30 am - 9:00 am

Youth Tennis Camp              Registration Fee is $35    for ages 7 to 15
Start from scratch or improve on what you already know. Tennis Camp will work on all the fundamental tennis skills necessary to play doubles or singles in a fun, fast paced week of activity. The camp is designed for young people ages 7 - 15. Bring a tennis racket if you have one.

Session I June 2 - 5 (rain date June 6)  6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Session II June 23 - 26 (rain date June 27) 9:00 am - 11:00 am

 

 

 

TENNIS EXTRAVAGANZA     July 26  10:00am - 2:00pm

A free day of fun tennis activities for persons of all ages at Old Reid Park.  Instruction, competition, prizes, and lunch will highlight the day for tennis players whether experienced or inexperienced.  The event is co-sponsored by the Springfield Tennis Patrons and is free of charge.
