Flag Football for boys and girls ages 6 - 14 (as of age of 9-1-08).
There will be three age divisions. This five on five game is more recognizable to football
fans. The offensive team plays for a first down at midfield and a
touchdown at the end zone. Running and passing plays are allowed,
although there are "no running zones" at midfield and near each
goal line. The defensive team covers receivers, rushes the
passer, and grabs flags to make "tackles". Games and
practices will be in Snyder Park beginning
in September and running through October. All participants will receive a reversible NFL sponsored game
jersey.

football skill competition is for boys and girls ages 8 - 15.
This event is not limited to Clark County residents
it is open to everyone. However, participants may only compete in one local competition per year.
The program is conducted locally by the National Trail Parks and Recreation District.
